Game Overview

In September 1939, Poland became the setting for the first ever first-person shooter game. It portraits the opening episodes and battles fought by Poles during the German invasion.

There is now a free add-on weapon available in the Add-ons menu for the game – the Degtyaryov PPD-30.

There is no doubt that Land of War is the first video game to focus on the 1939 episodes of WWII. It has been completely omitted until now that this early war even existed. This void was filled with MS Games’ debut production by makers from an independent studio. Other recent games that are related to World War II may be considered precursors to this one. MOHAA and COD1 as well as some other epic productions were influenced by the game and it evokes some nostalgia.
